Rabbi Yisroel Newman
Rabbi Yisroel Newman serves as Rabbinic Administrator of KR Kosher Certification, where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of kosher certification.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of kashrus, Rabbi Newman has conducted thousands of inspections and evaluations across a broad range of food manufacturing environments. He has worked extensively with leading rabbinic authorities and major kosher certification agencies, developing comprehensive expertise in both practical kashrus implementation and halachic oversight.
Rabbi Newman received his rabbinic ordination (semicha) in 2003 from the Rabbinical College of America. His ordination was granted by distinguished rabbinic authorities, including Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, and Harav Yitzchok Yehuda Yaroslavsky.
In his role, Rabbi Newman has been instrumental in establishing kosher certification programs for numerous companies, providing guidance from initial evaluation through full certification and ongoing compliance. His approach emphasizes clarity, efficiency, and adherence to the highest standards of kashrus.
